Ha Ko paper-incense leaves are crafted by Kunjudo on Awaji Island, one of Japan’s first founding islands, located at the same latitude as the Mediterranean Sea. According to The Chronicles of Japan, one of the country’s oldest records, aromatic wood drifted onto Awaji Island. With over 130 years of expertise in producing high-quality incense products, Kunjudo created Ha Ko leaves as an innovative way to incorporate incense into daily life.
